Tour an active mixed-use construction campus featuring multiple project types and construction phases, including wood-frame (early stages), steel concrete multifamily residential (approximately 65% complete) and a corporate building (approximately 85% complete). The campus uses a mix of both first generation and prefabricated materials.

This immersive field experience will provide practical insight into construction sequencing, fire protection considerations, site logistics, and the evolving risk management challenges associated with large-scale frame construction projects. 

Ticket includes transportation to and form the Falls Church Marriott, guided tour, and boxed lunch. 

Registration: $175

Know Before You Go

Personal Protective Equipment is required on the tour site. PPE will be available to borrow and is included in your ticket. Required PPE includes:

  • Hard hat
  • Cut level 4 gloves
  • High-visibility safety vest
  • Eye protection (either safety glasses or a visor on hard hat)

For your safety, you must adhere to the following clothing requirements:

  • Shirts with sleeves (no sleeveless)
  • Long pants (no shorts)
  • Minimum of a well-constructed work boot that provides ankle protection with a substantial, flexible sole must be worn. (No open-toed footwear, tennis shoes, or any other street-style or dress shoes.)
