Fraunces Tavern Tour & NYC Social

Wednesday, October 14, 2026
2:00 PM - 5:00 PM (EDT)
Category: Regional Event

Join us for a guided tour of the Fraunces Tavern Museum, where our expert tour guides will provide a unique look at New York City's Revolutionary-era history through a remarkable collection of artifacts and artwork. From an inland marine and fine arts insurance perspective, the museum offers a compelling case study in the protection of irreplaceable cultural assets, highlighting the specialized considerations involved in their preservation, valuation, and exhibition.

The tour will be immediately followed by a networking reception at Lafayette's Hideout Bar, located within the historic Fraunces Tavern Restaurant.

Tour Guides:

  • Melissa Lauer, Education & Public Programs Manager, Fraunces Tavern Museum
  • Andrew Gristina, Assistant Vice-President, The Fine Art Practice - Fidelity & Crime Division, Great American Insurance Group

Registration: $50
Includes tour, appetizers, and one drink ticket
