Lori Montoya

Lori Montoya began her career in commercial insurance through the Inroads program, joining St. Paul Insurance Companies as an intern and building a strong foundation in marine and construction underwriting over the next decade. She broadened her perspective at Marsh, managing complex global property programs, before moving into leadership roles at Fireman’s Fund and Zurich, where she led the Construction Property unit and oversaw a $200M+ portfolio. Since joining The Hartford in 2019, Lori has served as a Marine Underwriting Officer and Managing Director leading the Builder’s Risk team, and was most recently appointed Regional Vice President. She brings over 30 years of industry experience, holds a CRIS designation, and is an active industry speaker committed to mentorship and community service.
