Ron Castellanos

Inland Marine Business Segment Manager Selective Insurance Company   Ron has been in the marine, both inland and ocean, insurance arena for over 40 years, working in Manhattan for international brokerage firms including Marsh and McLennan and AON Group. Ron worked with the former Somerset Marine now Navigators Insurance as well as underwriting manager. His career took him to NJ where we served as a senior underwriter at Chubb and Hanover in the inland marine department. He then worked with Acadia, a Berkeley Company in their New York state office as the inland marine manager before joining Selective in New Jersey. Ron manages the inland marine book for the Arizona, MidAtlantic and New Jersey regions. He is the coordinator for all the inland marine training and sales presentations as well as a member of the Selective Sales Meeting and Summit Meeting educational committees. Ron has been an active member of the IMUA Annual Meeting Education Committee for the past three years.

IMUA is proud to have an outstanding consortium of subject matter experts involved in our association. Providing high quality training and education events is one of IMUA's top priorities. We are dependent on volunteers for both guiding us in curriculum development and presenting our education.
