3 CE credits are available for Agents & Brokers in CA, FL, GA, MD, NJ, NY & TX.
This class will discuss the challenges encountered by brokers, underwriters, claim adjusters and loss control in helping clients to develop a comprehensive and cost-effective risk management and insurance profile.
Review the issues facing customers relative to general property & casualty topics such as the sticker shock of auto liability and physical damage coverage, the importance of understanding contracts/master service agreements, the impact of nuclear verdicts on the industry and how to manage the Federal Motor Carrier CSA program, motor truck cargo and unusual trip transit exposures.
Instructors will thread a case study with a fictional company throughout the class engaging students and enabling instructors to demonstrate how to identify challenges and find solutions working collaboratively with brokers, underwriters, claim adjusters and loss control.
Highlight the "new normal" in trends and challenges in "wheels" risks as insureds pivot in reaction to financial and business changes due to the COVID-19 environment.
