You're invited to attend a half-day course that will cover the key concerns
for underwriting cranes on contractors equipment policies and claims issues
that arise from them. 

Cranes present challenges for inland marine insurers. There are many variables
that affect underwriting and claims -- from understanding types
and boom values to service life expectations. This session will
examine the important issues for consideration. 

 
- History of crane market cycles during the past 20 years
- Crane types, boom values, and damage
- Valuation and lost income/time element issues
- Identifying a "good account" versus a "not so good account"
-Claim concerns: repair vs. replace, establishing equipment values
-Case studies
